Factoids: The alleys were on the first floor and the Palm Theater was on the second floor of the Williams Building.
Arthur L Luce and John Rawson were the managers and/or owners of the lanes (and the billiard hall next door at 352 N Main) per the 1908 Polk Business Directory.
George Wagner and Henry Hatten purchase the Luce & Rawson pool hall and bowling alley and took possession October 6, 1908.
Thos. Kerby purchases the bowling alleys in November 1908.
(A E) Middleton and Stegerwald take over ownership and remodel the alleys in December 1910.
In March 1912, O. L. Stanley was training at the Middleton Bowling alley for a match with 51 year old wrestler Farmer Burns on April 17.
On September 10, 1914, all assets associated with the bowling alley were sold for cash at auction after the death of the owner, C. C. Murphy, administered by Carrie Murphy, the administratrix of the estate to pay off a promissory note.
Later in the decade, this address became the Hotel Rex around 1918.
