Factoids: The $4,000 two-story Sheridan Post building had a bowling alley in the basement run by Chas. P. Story when it opened.
A. L. Luce moved his alleys from Alger and Main to the basement after the construction of the Post Building in 1904 with intent to add a third alley.
When the Palm Theater opened in 1907, Luce moved in to the first floor and established the Palm Bowling Alley with partner John Rawson and was up and running by September.
